Picture Lumicene M3427

Polyethylene Lumicene® M3427 is used for the manufacture of artificial grass yarn whose main application is artificial grass fields, primarily for sports purpose.

The Total Ecosolutions Advantage

Lumicene® M3427 is a metallocene catalyzed polyethylene based on Total’s proprietary catalyst technology. It provides artificial grass yarns with a lifetime at least 50% longer compared to artificial grass yarn made of octene-based linear low density polyethylene that is considered the reference on the European market. The yarns increased longevity leads to an annual reduction of CO2 emissions and energy consumption over the lifetime.
